At Hotel Kint, every day begins with a smile and a freshly prepared breakfast. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hospitable breakfast chef who can offer our guests a warm welcome and a delicious start to their day.
Hotel Kint, located in the heart of Valkenburg, is housed in a historic monastery and has established itself as the city’s modern and trendy hotel. On the ground floor, you'll find Bistro Francis, a cozy and quality-focused bistro serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. It’s the beating heart of our hotel, featuring an impressive central bar and a large open kitchen where we give traditional bistro dishes a modern twist.
What will you do?
- Independently prepare and present the breakfast buffet
- Cook small hot dishes (such as eggs and pancakes)
- Maintain hygiene standards (HACCP), cleanliness, and a well-stocked kitchen
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure a smooth morning process
- Open and close the buffet on time
Who are you?
- You have a passion for cooking and hospitality
- You're a morning person with a warm personality
- Experience in a hotel kitchen is a plus, but not required
- You work independently, in a structured way, with an eye for detail — but you're also a team player
- You speak Dutch or English
