Hotel Kint, located in the heart of Valkenburg, is housed in a historic monastery and has positioned itself as the modern, trendy hotel of the city. The hotel houses on the ground floor Bistro Francis, a cozy and quality-oriented bistro for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. This is the beating heart of our hotel, with an impressive bar in the middle and a large open kitchen where we give traditional bistro dishes a modern twist.

As an All-round restaurant employee, you are the driving force behind every warm welcome for the guests. You mainly work in the restaurant but jump in where needed in the hotel. You sense what a guest needs and always arrange it with attention.

Your workday

No day is the same, and that's exactly what you like. You mainly work in the restaurant but easily jump in where needed in the hotel – always with attention to the guests.

• You are the first face for the guests and ensure a hospitable experience from arrival to departure;
• You prepare and take care of the breakfast (buffet), ensure everything looks neat and inviting, and easily make a good cup of coffee.
• You serve quickly and attentively, read your guests, and know the right moment to make an extra suggestion, whether it's a glass of champagne or a surprising cocktail;
• You get energy from pampering guests. With genuine attention and a sense of service, you ensure they can fully relax and enjoy their stay;
• You have an eye for quality and know how to enthusiastically share the story behind our dishes, drinks, and wines with guests;
• You assist the guest with check-in & check-out and happily answer any questions they have.

Salary and employment conditions

• Salary according to Horeca CAO scale 4 | reference function all-round service employee || 
  /// gross monthly salary: € 2,462.64 - € 2,778.00 excl. holiday pay;
• Contract based on 38 hours:
  Flexible working hours, available at least 1 day on weekends and holidays.

• 25 vacation days based on 38 hours;
• Good command of the Dutch or English language;
