Housekeeping Supervisor

Hotel Kint is a stylish boutique hotel located in a historic monastery in the heart of Valkenburg. With attention to detail, warmth, and hospitality, we ensure that our guests feel truly welcome. To manage our outsourced housekeeping, we are looking for a Working Housekeeping Supervisor: someone who not only supervises but also participates and sets a good example. 

Your role 

In this position, you are the point of contact for the external housekeeping party and actively participate daily in keeping our rooms and public areas clean. You maintain oversight, ensure a smooth distribution of tasks, and support colleagues where needed. Together with the team, you elevate the quality to a higher level. 

What will you do? 

• Actively participate in cleaning rooms and general areas
• Check rooms for cleanliness and quality
• Daily allocation of tasks and supporting colleagues
• Orient new employees
• Report technical defects and communicate room status with reception
• Maintain inventory of linens and cleaning materials
• Ensure a pleasant, collegial atmosphere within the team 

Who are you? 

• You have experience in housekeeping or cleaning, preferably in a hotel environment
• You enjoy participating on the work floor
• You have an eye for detail and a practical mindset
• You are helpful, friendly, and can communicate clearly
• You can work independently but also function well in a team
• Flexible attitude: working on weekends or holidays is not a problem
