From November 13, 2026 through January 3, 2027, Valkenburg will be transformed into the Christmas City of the Netherlands. What to do in Valkenburg during the holidays

• Landal Christmas Parade (through December 30, 2026)

Every Saturday evening, an enchanting parade with beautifully illuminated floats and dancers passes through the atmospheric streets of Valkenburg. From December 9, the parade will also take place on Wednesdays. A festive spectacle full of light, music, and Christmas atmosphere!

• Velvet Cave Christmas Market (through December 30, 2026)

Beneath the castle ruins, you will discover a cozy Christmas market full of stalls in the mysterious marlstone corridors. The special atmosphere makes this a magical outing. 

• Municipal Cave Christmas Market (through December 30, 2026)
